Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Location: Rancho Santa Margari, CA

Pay Rate: $65 - $75 / hr

Responsibilities:

As an Onsite Occupational Health Practitioner with CareOnSite, you will:

  • Provide in-person occupational health services to the community.
  • Perform therapeutic and minor surgical procedures, including injections, immunizations, suturing, Sub Q foreign body removal, simple foreign body removal of the eye/cornea, and burn care.
  • Offer occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and the treatment of Worker's Compensation injuries.
  • Conduct pre-participation physicals for employment purposes.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient charts.
  • Document patient information in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Minimum Education and Experience:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of occupational medicine or emergency medicine/urgent care experience.
  • Ideally, experience working in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
  • The ability to work independently and serve as a leader for the team.
  • Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

You must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A current State PA license or NP license.
  • A current DEA license.
  • Current BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
