CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company which provides occupational medical services nationwide, has an excellent opportunity for highly motivated Emergency Medical Technicians or Paramedics with strong clinical, computer and multi-tasking skills.

The CAREonsite EMT/Paramedic is responsible for providing basic first aid through life-saving medical care to all persons working within the confines of the site. This position will include work in both a clinical setting, as well as a field setting working as part of a team or alone.

Pay Range: $25 - 30

Part-Time: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8AM - 4PM (Through August, possible extension)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any work site incidents and hazards.
• Demonstrate a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and site hazards.
• Ensure that quality, clinical standards are practiced always.
• Document all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the safest and most secure work environment possible.
• Respond to emergencies throughout the site efficiently and promptly.
• Administer basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action

Qualifications and Skills

• Active State EMT or Paramedic license
• Active BLS certification
• Mental Health Experience and/or Certifications Preferred (not required)
• 2 years of experience required
