PRN Occupational Health Nurse Opportunity with Weekends Off!

Join CareOnSite, a leading provider of nationwide occupational medical services and a proud division of Tang & Company. We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and strong administrative skills, coupled with excellent computer and Microsoft Office application proficiency. The selected candidate will be stationed at a client-site location and will play a crucial role in managing the clinic/first aid station with minimal supervision.

Key Highlights:

  • Shifts: Enjoy 8-hour day shifts from Monday to Friday (6:00 am – 2:00 pm) on a PRN basis.

Responsibilities: As a key member of our medical department, you will:

  • Manage the clinic/first aid station independently.

  • Coordinate on-site clinic services and report to the Onsite Nurse Practitioner, Medical Client Leadership, and Manager of Site Operations to identify and resolve issues.

  • Facilitate training on various aspects of occupational health services, including respiratory and hearing conservation, surveillance physical exam programs, and drug and alcohol testing/collection programs.

Job Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Current LPN license with the State.

  • Certification from an accredited school.

  • 2 years of experience (Preferred).

  • Current Basic Life Support Card (CPR/AED) from the American Heart Association.

  • Successful completion of a skills assessment test.

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Worker's Compensation claims handling (Preferred).

  • Occupational Medical Health experience (Preferred).

  • Experience in injury/illness case management (Preferred).

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Disability Management: Support TPA in managing disability cases, fitness for duty exams, and functional capacity evaluations.

  • Collaborate with local HR and supervisors on the Disability Management Program.

  • Support Occupational Physician with the Fit for Duty (FFD) process.

  • Act as a resource to employees and local management for absence control programs.
