Responsibilities that Pack a Punch:

• Execute therapeutic and minor surgical procedures with finesse – injections, immunizations, suturing, sub-Q foreign body removal, simple foreign body removal of the eye/cornea, and burn care.
• Dive into comprehensive occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and top-notch treatment and Case Management for Worker’s Compensation injuries.
• Take charge of pre-employment physicals.
• Conduct Medical Surveillance and be proficient with the following :
• Specimen Collection (DOT)
• BAT
• Audio (CAOHC)
• Spirometry (NIOSH)
• Respiratory Protection/Fit Testing
• EKGs
• Benzene Exposure
• HF Acid Exposure
• H2S Exposure
• Showcase your precision in maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient charts.
• Navigate the digital realm seamlessly by documenting patient information in various Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) such as Cority (Preferred).

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Unleash your 3+ years of expertise in occupational medicine or emergency medicine/urgent care.
• Be the maestro in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
• Shine independently and lead the team with finesse.
• Radiate an excellent bedside manner and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Illuminate your written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Completing an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program illuminates your journey.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Hold the spotlight with a current State PA license or NP license.
• Command attention with a current DEA license.
• Spark interest with current BLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.
• Your words carry weight – exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Microsoft Office Suite Proficient
