CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, provides occupational medical services nationwide. We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) with strong clinical, computer, and multi-tasking skills to join our team.

As a CAREonsite Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting occupational health services, assisting medical providers, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. This position offers a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Schedule: Variable (40 hours a week)

  • Pay Range: $21 - 23

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct physical exams, including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit testing, and drug/alcohol testing.
  • Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens.
  • Administer medications and injections, perform blood draws, apply splints and dressings.
  • Ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for patient care.
  • Assist medical providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Handle administrative duties, such as scheduling, answering phones, and maintaining patient charts.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
  • Perform COVID-related duties, including temperature screening, questionnaires, vital signs, and testing.
  • Support both front and back-office functions as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) program from an accredited school.
  • Medical Assistant (MA) certification meeting state medical board requirements.
  • Current BCLS (CPR/AED) certification.
  • Clinical experience is a plus!
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
