CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, provides occupational medical services nationwide. We are looking for highly motivated Paramedics with strong clinical, computer, and multi-tasking skills to join our team supporting a long-term project in Hereford, Texas.

As a CAREonsite Travel Paramedic, you will play a vital role in protecting the health and safety of workers by providing care ranging from basic first aid to life-saving emergency medical treatment. This is a unique opportunity for paramedics who enjoy working in a field environment and are comfortable traveling for extended assignments.

This is a travel-based position. CAREonsite provides transportation to and from the worksite, as well as lodging while you are on assignment.

Details:

• Location: Hereford, TX
• Pay Range: $32–$35 per hour
• Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off
• Travel: Company-provided travel to and from the worksite
• Lodging: Company-provided lodging while on assignment
• Per-Diem: Daily per-diem to cover food
• Incentive Program

What You’ll Do:

• Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care in compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the appropriate course of action.
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further instructions and follow-up care.
• Engage with clients and site personnel regarding workplace incidents, injuries, illnesses, and potential hazards.
• Stay aware of the constantly changing worksite environment to identify and help mitigate health and safety risks.
• Maintain high clinical standards and ensure all care provided meets established quality guidelines.
• Accurately document all patient assessments, treatments, and medical encounters.
• Assist Site Safety Managers and other site personnel in promoting a safe and secure work environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team while also being comfortable working independently in a remote worksite environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active NREMT-Paramedic and Paramedic license in Texas required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency medical setting, such as an emergency department or 911 ambulance service.
• 911 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a construction or industrial environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Hereford, TX and remain on assignment for 14 consecutive days.

Additional Requirements:

• 14 days on / 14 days off rotation.
• Ability to travel and work away from home for 2 consecutive weeks at a time.
• Ability to work in a remote construction/industrial environment.
• Occupational Health Experience – Preferred
• Construction Site Experience – Preferred
